About US

Shaun and Amy O’Hara created the Shaun O’Hara foundation in 2009.
O’Hara was named Ambassador of Hope for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
of New Jersey. Sean Squires, a young man diagnosed with CF inspired the
O’Haras to help spread awareness and hope for families affected CF and
other illnesses. The primary mission of Helping to Increase Knowledge and
Education of life threatening diseases, with a particular focus on
supporting research and awareness for Cystic Fibrosis.

Since it’s inception, The Shaun O’Hara Foundation has contributed over a
million dollars to non-profit organizations which have minimal financial
resources available, and to other health and education initiatives including
endowed scholarship programs. O’Hara also gives back to his youth and
high school football programs and the community of Hillsborough, NJ
annually.
The Shaun O’Hara Foundation Golf Outing just celebrated 12 years of
growing the mission of vision of the O’Haras. Executive Director Jim Ruh
has navigated locations, donations, and an army volunteers, who return
yearly for an amazing day of golf and giving.
