ABOUT US
Shaun and Amy O’Hara created the Shaun O’Hara Foundation in 2009. O’Hara was named Ambassador of Hope for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of New Jersey. Sean Squires, a young man diagnosed with CF inspired the O’Haras to help spread awareness and hope for families affected CF and other illnesses. The primary mission of Helping to Increase Knowledge and Education of life threatening diseases, with a particular focus on supporting research and awareness for Cystic Fibrosis.
The Shaun O’Hara Foundation Golf Outing just celebrated 15 years of growing the mission of vision of the O’Haras. Executive Director Jim Ruh has navigated locations, donations, and an army volunteers, who return yearly for an amazing day of golf and giving
What We Do
The Shaun O’Hara Foundation focuses on creating awareness of life-threatening diseases for which there is little funding, helps to raise funds to support other 501(c) (3) organizations’ health and education initiatives. Since it’s inception, The Shaun O’Hara Foundation has contributed over a million dollars to non-profit organizations which have minimal financial resources available, and to other health and education initiatives including endowed scholarship programs. Aside from The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, our organization also hopes to The Multiple Sclerosis Society and The Lung Cancer Foundation of America.
Additionally, Shaun O’Hara is committed to nurturing the next generation and supporting his community in Hillsborough, NJ through to youth and high school football programs.

About SHAUN O’HARA
Former NFL Center AND Current NFL Network Analyst
In April 2000, Shaun joined Cleveland Browns as an undrafted rookie free agent before moving to the New York Giants in March 2004 as a free agent signing. He received the prestigious NFL Walter Payton "Man of the Year" award in 2005 while playing for the Giants, recognizing both on-field excellence and community contributions. He has served as a three-time Pro Bowl Center and Co-Captain of the 2007 Super Bowl Champion New York Giants. Shaun garnered numerous accolades in 2008, including selection to the first Pro Bowl, 1st Team All-Pro by Sports Illustrated and The Sporting News, 1st Team All-NFC by Pro Football Writers Association, and 2nd Team All-Pro by the Associated Press. Since 2011, he has been an NFL analyst on NFL Network's Total Access Show, Playbook, and Game Day First.
